AIGA Get Out the Vote: Empowering the Women’s Vote
Submitted By: Sarah Gephart
AIGA Chapter: New York
Artist Statement: This year we celebrate the centennial of women's suffrage. But a century since attaining the right to vote, women still make up only 24% of the House of Representatives and 26% of the Senate. The U.S. population is made up of 50.8% women. If we want elected officials that reflect who we are, does that math seem right?
