Artist Statement: The title of this work is called “Closer Look.” Vikku Ponnaganti created this design for his "Image Making and Meaning" course at Merrimack College. The point of the work is to urge people to take a closer look at either party that people will be choosing in the upcoming Presidential Election and to actually go out and vote. People now are only realizing the power of their vote and if they want to make a change, they must go out and do their civic duty.
