AIGA Get Out the Vote 2020
Submitted By: Caitlin Wagner
Chapter: Chicago
Artist Statement: Voting is an act of advocacy when we use our voices to help those who don't get to experience equal privileges due to the color of their skin, gender or other discriminatory basis. That's why it is important to educate ourselves not only on the process, but what each candidate represents because by selecting a candidate we get to take part in forming the future of what our country stands for. Therefore we must not only consider the impact on our own lives, but also make sure that those who are under represented and under valued in society are able to have their basic human rights ensured as well.
